Department of Geology, University of Kerala intends to organize a photographic competition and exhibition as a part of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the department. Separate competitions is conducted for general public and the college going students (including professional colleges and self financing colleges).
The themes for the competition are as follows:
I. General PublicA. Traditional Technologies
B. Man and River system
C. Tropical Landforms
II. College Going students
A. Earth : The Mother
B. Human encroachments in Ecosystems
An individual can submit upto three entries in each theme (Color or Black & White). There will not be any registration fees for the competition. The proposed dates for the exhibition is January 8 - 11, 2014. The last date for the submission of all entries is 4pm, January 2nd 2014, Indian Standard Time. Entries that get first and second places would receive Rs 5,000 and Rs 3,000 respectively.
