UGC (University Grants Commission) gives Post Graduate (PG) Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child. Scholarship has been instituted with the objectives of supporting the Post Graduate education in non-professional courses only, of such girls, who happen to be the only child in the family and to recognize the value of observance of small family norms, through scholarships for their Post-Graduation education.
