<b><u>Eligibility and Selection Criteria</u></b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The eligibility of candidates will be based on a) performance in Board Examinations within the cut-off threshold (top 1%) for each State or Central Board Examination in the year 2018 at Class XII level as listed in Table 1 and/ or b) performance in any of the specified Competitive Examinations within stipulated cut off ranks and c) recipient of various scholarships and medals (Table 2 & Table 3). The eligible candidate must be already enrolled into a valid and regular degree level course (No correspondence course) in Natural / Basic Sciences within the scope of INSPIRE Scholarship (Table 4) at any UGC recognized College or University or National Institute in India. </div>

Receipt of Eligibility Note or Eligibility Certificate on INSPIRE Scholarship from respective Board is not a mandatory criterion to apply and also do not guarantee the Scholarship.</div>

Moreover, the top 1% Cut-off of the previous year (2017) given in Table 1 would only be used for guidelines purpose. In the case of receiving more than 12,000 eligible applications in the given year, the selection will be on the basis of Board inclusive model within the available number of Scholarships in that year as it has been accepted and implemented for the selection</div>

Science and Technology Ministry Department Government of India, has invited to apply for Scholarship for Higher Education SHE. The scholarships are offered to Plus Two (+2) 12th Class Passed in 2017. UGC recognized College/ University/ Institutions in India.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />The Scholarship valued at Rs. 80,000/- annually. The cash value payable to the SHE scholarship holder is Rs. 60,000/- per annum.  The balance amount of Rs.20,000/- will be for a summer time attachment fee to be paid for undertaking summer time research project.<br /><br />Eligibility: Applicant must have passed Class Plus Two (+2) 12th XII in 2017 and should have been enrolled in and pursuing, a valid Degree level course (B.Sc./BS/Integrated MSc/Integrated MS course) in Natural / Basic Sciences at any UGC recognized College or University or National Institute in India. <br /> </div>

Post Matric Scholarships Scheme Application Online Help

Prime Minister’s  New  15  Point  Programme  for  the  Welfare  of  Minorities  was announced  in  June,  2006.  It  provides  that a post-matric  scholarship  scheme  for  meritorious students from minority communities would be implemented. The objective of the scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to   economically   weaker   sections   of   minority   community   so   as   to   provide   them   better opportunities  for  higher  education,  increase  their  rate  of  attainment  in  higher  education  and enhance their  employability.<br /><br />ELIGIBILITY<br />Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or  equivalent  grade  in  the  previous  final  examination  and  the  annual  income  of  whose parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.00 lakh.<br /><br />EARMARKING FOR GIRL STUDENTS <br />30%  of  scholarship  will  be  earmarked  for  girl  students.    In  case  sufficient  number  of eligible girl students are not available, then the balance earmarked scholarships may be awarded to eligible boy students<br /><br />RATE OF SCHOLARSHIP<br />

Prime Minister’s New 15 Point Programme for the Welfare of Minorities was announced in June 2006. It provides that a pre - matric scholarship scheme for meritorious students from minority communities would be implemented.<br />
<br />
Scholarship at  pre - matric level  will encourage  parents from  minority communities to send their  school going  children to  school,  lighten their financial burden on school education and sustain their efforts to support their children to complete school education. The scheme will form the foundation for their educational attainment and provide a level playing field in  the competitive  employment arena.  Empowerment through  education, which is one of the objectives of this scheme, has the potential to lead to upliftment of the socio-economic conditions of the minority communities.<br />
<br />
The scholarship will be awarded for studies in India in a government or private school from class  I  to class  X,  including such residential  Government institutes  and eligible  private institutes selected and  notified in  a  transparent manner by  the  State  Government and Union Territory Administration concerned.<br />
<br />
ELIGIBILITY<br />
The scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous  final examination and an annual income of  their parents/guardian from  all sources does not exceed Rs. 1 lakh.</div>
